Visitors who wish to apply for Tourist Visa to Nepal must fill an online visa application form available at the following portal:
https://nepaliport.immigration.gov.np/onlinevisa-mission/application
All the personal details to be filled and the required documents to be submitted for the visa are clearly indicated in the above-mentioned portal.
A confirmation slip will be generated at the end of the online application process.

Visa Hours:
Applicants of tourist visa for Nepal are requested to visit the Embassy on the working days (Monday – Friday) during consular hours from 10:00 to 13:00 hours.
Documents Required for Passport Holders:
- Original passport with at least 6 months validity
- A confirmation slip generated from the online visa application portal
- Hotel booking and accommodation confirmation copy
- Travel Insurance copy ( Not mandatory )
Application Procedure:
Applicants can submit documents for visa and collect their passports in person or through their agents/representatives with his/her power of attorney.
Processing Time:
It takes one working day for the issuance of a tourist visa. Applicants may collect their passport with visa stamped on them after one working day within the consular hours.
Note: Applicants visiting the Embassy without filling up the online visa application form will not be entertained.
Visa Fees:
Children below 10 years of age can obtain visa free of charge. For all others the following visa fees is applicable:

| 30 days Multiple Entry Visa | € 50/- |
| 90 days Multiple Entry Visa | € 125/- |
Visitors who wish to acquire visa from the Embassy of Nepal, Vienna, but are unable to visit the Embassy in person may apply through the Post. Such applicants should fill up the online application form and send their original passport along with the confirmation slip generated from the portal to the Embassy via post.
Apart from the requirements mentioned above, such applicants are also required to send a self-addressed strong envelope affixed with sufficient postage stamp so that the Embassy can return passport/s to their respective addresses.
Applicants applying by-post from countries other than Austria may advise a courier service to collect the passport from the Embassy. In case that is not practical they must include additional amount (approx. Euro 10 in our calculation; applicants are advised to consult with the local Post Office regarding this matter), while depositing the visa fee, sufficient to cover the return postal charge. The charge of international transfer by the banks should be borne by the applicant.
Applicants applying through post are required to deposit/ bank transfer the visa fee to the bank account of this Embassy and enclose the relevant bank paper with the confirmation slip. Personal cheques are not accepted.
